The band will be playing their first gig together since September and there will be loads of special guests. The band will be performing a 1.5 hour set of Dlugokecki hits and Classic Christmas Covers. There are some amazing support bands playing on the night who are all big friends of the band - including D-Code, Beatitudes, Defy4, Flight and Bad Karma. The gig kicks off at 7pm, with Dlugokecki performing in the middle at around 920pm. The venue is open until 2am so please feel free to party all night long.

// Fancy dress competition

I hate the word fancy. I've had a number of people ask me if they can come dressed up. Oh my god, yes!! I loved it at Xtravaganza 6 when Alan Man, one of our photographers, dressed up as a fairy!! We will be offering a prize of a bottle of wine & a signed photo in a frame of Andy Wild for the winner of the best fancy dressed. Of course this is optional, but the more the merrier.

// Come see the last Ben Dlugokecki gig of the year - Sat 18th Dec!!

On Saturday 18th I will be playing a free 3-hour covers show at my residency venue 'Pulcinella's' in Bedford Place, Southampton. This will be the last time I will be playing in 2010 before my break! Come along, be merry, because it's 7 days until Xmas!!

"Third act of the evening is Ben Dlugokecki, who is something of a celebrity in Southampton music circles as the front man of local music project Dlugokecki, who are celebrating their 10th anniversary of making music. Ben is great to watch live, effortlessly chatting with the crowd in between performing some top quality self-penned tunes. (And a cover version which I am reliably informed was something by Cheryl Cole. I can’t help thinking it probably sounded a lot better performed live on stage by a good singer/musician, rather than over produced and auto-tuned. Or even worse…being mimed to – badly!)
